Dad talks about the origin of this story, its connection to the history of the English language, and the poetic devices used in the writing. In the second half I read a summarised version of the story and some verses from Armitage's modernised version.

Now for the last three weeks, I was teaching more or less full-time. Just spending all my time at the school but that's ended. Now, and I have about one week to work on Luke's English podcast content and upload it before the August summer. It begins. I'm not sure if I'll be able to work during August because well because like, hello, it's holiday season.
