0「十二月December」播客系列十月邀请到的是Erdi Tac，他的中文名字是陈一鸣。他来自土耳其，2017年从北京大学研究生毕业后，在深圳工作生活至今。
「December」 podcast series, our October guest is Erdi Tac, whose Chinese name is Chen Yiming. Hailing from Turkey, he graduated as a postgraduate from Peking University in 2017 and has been living and working in Shenzhen since then.
他在土耳其的贫困地方出生成长，是家族里的第一位大学生。在求学路上，他在别人的帮助下顺利进入大学。怀着感恩之心，从求学到现在，他一直坚持尽自己所能去帮助其它孩子：
在土耳其读本科时是帮助土耳其贫困地区的孩子；
在深圳则是加入全球杰出青年深圳社区，发起Education for Everyone (E4E) 帮助外来打工子女学习英语。我也是在通过这个项目与他成为朋友的。
Growing up in impoverished areas of Turkey, he was the first person in his family to attend college. Throughout his educational journey, he received assistance from others to smoothly access higher education. Fueled by gratitude, from his college years in Turkey, where he helped underprivileged children in his hometown, to Shenzhen, where he joined the Global Shaper Community Shenzhen Hub and initiated Education for Everyone (E4E) to aid the children of migrant workers in learning English. It was through this project that I became friends with him.

通过这次播客录制，我第一次完整的了解他的成长经历，跟我和身边的朋友很类似：在偏远小地方出生长大，通过教育改变人生轨迹。小时候他见到一位亚洲人外国人很兴奋，像我第一次见外国人一样：想打招呼交流，只会一两句。进入大学后，他花了一年的时间苦学英语。从那之后，英语像一把魔法钥匙，帮他打开了很多扇大门。现在他鼓励每一个家人学习英语，包括他的妈妈。
Through this podcast recording, I had the privilege of fully comprehending his growth story for the first time, which was very similar to mine and those around me. Born and raised in remote areas, he used education to transform his life's trajectory. In his early years, when he saw an Asian or foreigner, he would be excited, much like my initial encounters with foreigners, wanting to greet and communicate, even if he only knew a few sentences. Later in college, he dedicated a year to diligently study English. Since then, English has been like a magical key, opening many doors for him. Now, he encourages his entire family, including his mother, to learn English.
他曾是受助者，还通过英语解锁了很多人生可能。现在他结合这几个关键转折点，他和小伙伴开始了英语AI学习平台🔍「Cathoven猫多芬」的创业，希望能赋能更多英语学习者，打开人生可能性，如英语老师，个人英语学习者。如此情怀也让我很是敬佩。

He was once a recipient of assistance and used English to unlock numerous life opportunities. Combining these pivotal turning points in his life, he and his friends have embarked on their entrepreneurial journey, establishing the English AI learning platform 'Cathoven' to empower more English learners and open up life possibilities for English teachers and individual learners alike. I deeply admire his commitment to this cause.

小学英语免费课
这次跟Erdi聊完，又给我注入了新的力量：想尽自己绵薄之力去支持小学生喜欢上英文。💪Will是我亲姐的孩子，今年四年级。在他三年级时，为了支持他学英语，我每周四晚上会给他线上辅导半小时，直到现在。渐渐的，他的“同学”多了起来，有二年级到五年级不等，大家一起学挺热闹的，也结下了新的友谊。
因此，在这里发起一个小招募：
如果你/朋友家有小朋友是小学阶段，孩子比较抵触学英语但不排斥线上课模式，那可以问问小朋友想法，如果TA愿意试试看，可以每周来线上免费学习半小时；
