本期播客我们邀请到了Franco Odhiambo，他在肯尼亚最大的贫民窟之一长大，面对犯罪和暴力，他通过舞蹈找到了自我表达和逃离困境的途径。他不仅改变了自己的命运，还通过创立组织ChezaCheza Dance，帮助更多儿童和青年克服创伤、找到希望和自我价值。

Last week, I personally met Franco at a dance school in the slums of Nairobi and had the opportunity to have a high-quality conversation with him, which gave me a deeper understanding of his story and aspirations. More importantly, I witnessed firsthand the confidence on the faces of the slum children and the light in their eyes when they dance. This makes me believe that he is helping these children build strong minds through dance. Bravo Franco!

09:35 Very glad to have the chance to visit ChezaCheza dance school and meet Franco this summer with Simon. We have the deep conversation with Franco, and when I saw all the happiness and sunshine light from the children's eyes, I got the deep understseeing on what Franco said in the video. At the same time I believe that Franco showes his own particular strong leadership which can let so many people to follow him to provide the great supporting to the children to achieve their new life future.
I was deeply expressed by the sentences when I saw them in the dance school's wall:
Building strong mind through dance.
Love is helping, even when it is not easy.
Love is forgiving, even when it is hard.

Great thankful for Simon let us have the chance to have the deep experience in Kenya!

:Sawubona Jenny! I am grateful to co-deliver Sawubona Kenya Sihkona China Gathering on Aug 12 in Franco’s Cheza Cheza Dancing School! You will be remembered just like Franco will be remembered! For me, Franco is such an authentic role model of leadership. Poverty does not define them, but strong mindset defines them! Leadership is not about money and authority. Without money and title, how we can make sure people are WILLING to FOLLOW us. It is all about legitimacy. It is all about Care & Growth! It is all about the Legitimate Leadership. Leadership is about loving people. More importantly, leadership is about tough love.

有幸和Simon叫兽的游学团一起来到ChezaCheza舞蹈学校。尽管身处贫民窟中，ChezaCheza的孩子们却是如此的的自信开朗。虽然大家此前从未见过面，短暂的gathering仿佛让我们成为了多年挚友，大家既乐于分享，也擅长倾听，互相交流互相理解，好久没有感到人与人之间如此强烈的链接！与Franco聊天，了解了创办chezacheza的故事，马上联想到在舞蹈学校看到的口号：Love is helping. Even when it's not easy. Franco与ChezaCheza面对现实压力仍然选择坚持，将爱传递给贫民窟的孩子们，是真正领导力的体现。
