Metaphorical way to describe something extremely terrible.
Ex: This day has been a dumpster fire.(missing the bus, walking all the way to the office, broke off by heals, coverd with dirt)
2. Garbage( used for everything terrible, a bad book, a bad day, a bad person)
Ex: That book was such a garbage. It's a waste of my time.
Honestly, she turned out to be a garbage person.
3. Trash(terrible, similar vto garbage. There are some specific phrases)
Phrase: Trash TV
Ex: Sorry, the soup is absolutely trash. I think I used way too much salt.(Don't use it for a person. It's so mean.)
4. White trash(informal, derogatory, it refers to underprivileged white social group, a really horrible judgment on other person)
Actually it's not used more often than it used to be.It feels like a kind of stereotype.
5.Rubbish( a British slang, worthless, useless, every similar to trash and garbage, also for someone's lying, exaggeration)
Ex: He's a rubbish teacher.( less harsh than garbage and trash. a little more playful)
