you can't judge their quality or substance base on what you see on the super facial level on the surface .
2. an open book .

you set rules on how you see things, how to proceed things , what's ok what's not ok .
In my book, it's wrong to ask someone for a favor when you have no intention of returning it.
4. to hit the books.
to study, to do your work for the examination.
It really helps for exam if you're book smart .
being book smart is the opposit of street smart.
