Yuan longping is Daming's hero.When Yuan was a young man,he saw that many Chinese people sufferd from hunger,so he dreamed of developing better rice plants.After college in 1953,he started working on his dream.He had a very strong will and once said,"Everytime I fall down,I'll get up and try again."Finally he developed new rice plants.He then worked for a greater dream:rice grown worldwide.To realize this dream,he traveled aboard and gave advice about growing rice.His efforts have helped feed millions of people a year.He gave the world victory over hunger.He was a true hero.
