After more than three decades of teaching modern Chinese history at the University of Cambridge, Hans van de Ven joined Peking University in 2022 as a visiting professor. In this episode of China Mosaic, the historian discusses his passion for Chinese history, his life and work in China, as well as efforts to enhance global connections.
