Ex: My dog was barking up a storm. I don't why, but then I saw there are 4 deer outside.
Ex: I've been cooking up a storm for 3 days, getting ready for thanksgiving dinner.
Ex: I'm sorry. I'm talking up a storm, I know. I'm just so excited to see you.
👏👏👏It doesn't sound naturally with everything.
It doesn't work to say: I'm driving up a storm.
2. excessively
Ex: She was excessively chatting with her friends last night, and now she lost her voice.
3. to no end
Ex: I've been looking for a job to no end lately. I hope someone comes through soon.
4. doing something like crazy.
Ex: I've been looking for jobs like crazy.
Role Play
A: So did you get all ingredients?
B: Yes, of course.
A: I've been shopping to no end, and it seems like I have everything.
B: Ok, great. I've been cleaning up a storm since yesterday, so the place is spotless.
A: Thats great. Claudy told me she's been baking like crazy. She is a great baker. I'm so excited to try her deserts.
B: Oh, me too.
