No.4 🇺🇸 US government work is a work of mystery? | Gen

In this episode, we welcome a special guest with multiple identities—Gen! She is a Chinese-American and an Asian Jew. The fusion of her heritage seems to have predestined her life for colorful adventures. At 15, she moved from China to the U.S. and later interned at a U.S. government agency. She founded the Lunar film project as a producer, bringing together 23 Chinese-American Jews to share their stories… and much more.

With the mixed heritage comes a journey of self-discovery, questioning identity, and exploring the profound question: Who am I? Step by step, she has carved out her own path. Today, Jay takes you into Gen’s world to uncover how Chinese-American mixed-race individuals perceive both China and the West.

We also discussed the last U.S. election and Trump’s decisive victory. What caused the Democratic Party to lose its standing and the respect of American citizens? Can Trump truly solve America’s current problems? You’ll find all these discussions in the latter half of my conversation with Gen.
