Do you tend to avoid confrontation and drama? today get five ways to talk about drama in English and your style when you face it in English.
1. confrontational 对抗的
If someone does something wrong to you, do you run toward the issue or do you run away from it and try to ignore?
I'm not a confrontational person, i have tendency to avoid if i can.
eg, I'm pretty not a confrontational, so i let a lot of things slight.
2. stay away from the drama 远离纷争
drama-free 指生活、关系或环境中没有戏剧性的冲突、纷争或不必要的麻烦
some people thrive 助长, 以...为乐 the drama.
= people love / create the drama.
eg, I try to stay away from the drama, It's not worth the stress in my opinion.
3. to start trouble 挑事
eg, i should say something to her, but i don't like to start trouble, it just end up being awkward for me.
4. to pick you battles 应战
eg, Maybe someone did something the first time, i will pick my battles. but if it happens over and over then you have to think about what is worth a confrontation and drama.
It decided a long time ago, i will pick my battles, not everything is worth argument.
5. keep the peace
eg, I think i will just try to forget it, It's better to keep the peace. let's be a peace keeper.
