Put "though" at the end or beginning
1️⃣FYI: "though" can go at the beginning, middle or end of sentence. It is either being used as a conjunction to join to clauses. It means that despite the fact for being as a conjunction.
Ex: Though we called in our order, it wasn't ready when we arrived.(conjunction)
Tips: Although, Even though(despite the fact that) both of them mean the same thing if you use "though" many times.
2️⃣"despite this" being used as an adverb, very similar meaning, just function in the sentence.
Ex: He feels guilty about lie to his mom, though he wasn't about to fess up.(but)
3️⃣ to add information as a contrast what we've said.
Ex: Though I know I shouldn't eat ice cream every day, I just can't resist.
Ex: They went to the same university, though they never met there.
Ex: I like shopping, not when it's crowded though.
4️⃣ replacing "however" and "but", in this case used as a subordinating conjunction
Ex: Though I don't usually buy popcorns at the movies, I'm getting some today.
Ex: I don't usually drink soda, though I drink a lot today.
Ex: I usually never skip class, I didn't go the…though.
6️⃣to show appreciation, adding though to mean thank you anyway, but it indicates u can't accept it or you don't need it.
Ex: I don't need to ride, thx though.
Ex: No, thanks though(appreciate the offer)
