年的传说

相传，年兽是一种凶猛的怪兽，每到除夕就会出来伤人。人们发现它害怕红色、火光和巨大声响。于是，每至年末，大家就贴红春联、燃爆竹、点灯火，年兽再也不敢来了。这些习俗逐渐演变成如今的春节，承载着人们对平安和幸福的祈愿。
According to legend, the Nian beast was a ferocious monster that would come out to harm people every New Year's Eve. People discovered that it was afraid of red, firelight, and loud noises. So, at the end of each year, people would paste red Spring Festival couplets, set off firecrackers, and light lamps. Since then, the Nian beast never dared to come again. These customs have gradually evolved into the present Spring Festival, carrying people's wishes for peace and happiness.
