4 idioms using the straight to talk about direct and more in English.
1️⃣keep straight
🗒not to mix up, to correctly distinguish one thing from another.
Ex: He has a difficult time keeping players' name straight. He mixes them up and call the girls' wrong name.
2️⃣get sth straight
🗒clear up misunderstanding or to clarify sth that's confusing.
Ex: Let's get this straight. You were home at 2 am.
Ex : Let me get this straight.
Ex : I need to get one thing straight.
3️⃣think straight
🗒be able to focus or concentrate
Ex: I can't think straight with all this noise.
