1. in some ways, means partly but not completely.
eg, In some ways, I'm unlike my mother.
Prescription drugs处方药are beneficial in some ways, but can easily be abused.
2. at times or sometimes, means occasionally rather than all of the time.
eg, At times I don't understand him.
Sometimes She's late.
3. somehow, means in some way or by some means. 以某种方式，不知为何
eg, Somehow i was able to finish the project on time. ( by some means)
You look different somehow, did you get a haircut?
4. somehow or other. 以某种方式或其他方式：表示对于某事的具体细节不重要或已经被遗忘
eg, Somwhow or other, we will figure out the solution.
