Cameron Johnson returns to talk about the current US trade war, tariffs, and the new world order.  

Cameron Johnson is an expert in supply chains, manufacturing, and technology.  He is frequently sought out for his expertise on US-China trade and supply chain issues, and is a delegate to Washington DC where he advises US politicians and officials.  He is also a professor at New York University and former Vice-Chair of the board at the American Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai.  He is a senior partner at Tidalwave Solutions with clients in various high technology sectors and he has been quoted by both American and Chinese news outlets alike.

And really why don’t the US talk about the surplus of high-profit service trades they have been enjoying for decades? Why only look at physical goods trade. What a modern propaganda they are promoting
16:32 I find it illogical that the US blames other countries for their own choice of national strategy decades ago of retaining high-tech and lucrative sectors, such as investment and financial services, within the US while transferring labor-intensive and polluting industries abroad. Furthermore, their portrayal of themselves as a victim seems disingenuous, considering their large companies reap most of the wealth and benefits. More fundamentally, I feel such tariff war exposes the hypocrisy of the US’s so-called democracy and freedom. They disregard agree-upon rules when those rules don’t serve their interests and force the changes until they get what they want, irrespective of fairness or the welfare of other market players. Isn’t it an action of gangster? Might makes right?
