A mistake as pretty generally accepted, "grinded" as the past tense in America, but which tricky is used for some of the meanings, but not all of them.
1️⃣to grind sth down(to reduce to its small particles or powder by crushing)
Ex: I'm gonna grind some coffee beans for fresh coffee.
👏👏👏For this meaning of "grind"
✗: I grinded some herbs. I grinded some coffee beans.
✓: I ground some herbs. I ground some coffee beans.
🧐I used to grind …(for when you don't know the past tense of "grind")
