🌈Get movie vocabulary to watch film and fully enjoy it.
hot(being illegal, suspicious or stolen)
Ex: The cops pulled him over because they checked the license plate, and it turns out the car was hot.
Ex: I don't wanna buy a phone from him, cuz I think it's hot. I rather buy one from a store.
👏👏👏This way of using hot is not so much in daily English, but you can hear it in the movies.
Ex: The FBI tapped his phone line and found out he was stealing with several hot pieces of merchantdise.
👏👏👏"tap"(it means something is being watched and spyed on unedr surveillance)
Ex: He got arrested because he didn't know that his deal was being done when there was under cover cop in the car was hot.
🧐being watched
Ex: The thief didn't know he was being watched. There were cameras everywhere.
🧐tap(put microphone in the hotel room, sth like that.)
Ex: The whole area is under investigation, so the cops aren't letting anyone in.
