why slow down in English?
Slowing down taking up space
it's delivery / transfer you a good presenter
speed/ intonation
strategically slow down hiding our nervousness
harder to understand we will make ourselves small
the need to pause when we need punctuation make our meaning clear
monotone hard to show character
Ex: i told you i did try but no one is listening
(have to be pauses, give words space, stress the did, emphasize the second time, add emotional weight)
Ex: she looked in my eye and said this will never gonna work (punching it harder to empathize)
When you slow down it's intentionally be able to use clear annancition)
if you say quickly lose the point and connection /
If we speaking quickly causing misunderstand
It's about taking space
