Here is the discussion room for Bibliothèque of Greens, any friendly discussions are welcomed. I want to hear others' voice, and build a space and community for people to stay in peace, think and share, and grow together.
I know it's not new to talk about how the colonialism impact to the rest of the world and even for nowadays world, but I still want to say that I see more through the heritage of Colonialism Era.
In Kew Gardens, one of my favourite places. I love the views in greenhouse, but I also hate greenhouse. Exotic plants, especially the tropical plants need that hot and humid climate, they are restricted in the giant room, but still enjoy what invaders created for them.
For me, as an outsider of this country, I enjoy the freedom and everything different from my home country, but I know somehow, I am just like living in that greenhouse. I felt so lost because of my identity and want to escape from that greenhouse, but I don't know where I should run to.
Now it's getting clearer to me that maybe some self-protection or certain ways are not necessary to me (but are critical to plants). This episode is just briefly reflecting on my life and my inner world. And I want to share more thoughts with you guys more deeply afterwards. Anyways, hope you enjoy this episode and also my Lalaland.
