Emotion versus feeling what's the difference?
how to be present when the emotions running high
regular degree or emotional side / Emotional person at the core
1.Emotions feels like row describe what happened initially / feelings more of a after effect how we process and interpret in conscious level, more general, less articulate
felling goes along with emotions
emotion can be verb
Emotion are more formal / feelings are less formal but conversational
Ex: i used to like that restaurant but now i have mixed emoticons things have changed recently;
Ex: in last months of my pregnancy my hormones made me super emotional (up and down)
Ex:being friends with you is a emotional roller coaster
2.Emotional roller coaster :emotions are not stable
(Common expression)
Ex: i have a good felling of sth (bad, weird, strange)
i have a good feeling of getting the job(hunch)
We can't say i have a bad feeling in my leg
Ex: I'm feeling ok tonight but i needed more rest
uncontrollable crying, listing to your body giving body space and letting emotions to follow through
You hurt sb's feelings
3.Gut feeling: sth is telling me in my body
Ex: my gut fellings are right he's a bad guy
