pointng more spontaneous unplanned situation
1.throw something in (often about laundry)
Ex:I'll throw it in the dryer / hamper
Ex:oh should i bring my running shoes I'll just throw them in the car just in case if i need them
Ex:could you throw this shoes in the backpack before you leave (it means put)
2.throw sth together
Roughly doing sth, doing sth without a plan
Ex: I'm not sure what I'm gonna eat for lunch
I'll just throw something together
Ex:it's my sister's birthday on this Saturday I'm gonna throw sth together for her (small get-together with friends)
3.throw on sth
Ex:I'm just gonna throw on some sweatshirt
throw a short on
Ex: I'll just throw on some clothes and head out to you right away
for cooking :
Ex:throw some lemon juice on / in it (if you mixing something)
4.jump
jump in the shower / pop in the shower / take a shower / step into the shower (used in more of a quick shower)
Role play:
A:OK!so are we meeting at 11:00?
B:can we make it to 11:15? I wanna jump in the shower before i head out
A:yeah! That's fine i Have to throw a laundry in anyway
B: great!what are you wearing to launch?
A:i will just gonna throw on a dress it's not a fancy place but not super casual either
