Erinome: Hello dear friends! Today Erinome and Enceladus are going to talk about a common problem—why women's online clothes have such a high return rate. Have you ever bought clothes online and returned them?

Enceladus: Oh yes! I did last month. I ordered 5 dresses, and returned 4. Wow, that’s almost all! Do you know how bad this problem is?

Erinome: It’s really high! Some research says the return rate for women’s online clothes is 50 to 60 percent. And for live-stream sales? Even over 80%!

Enceladus: 80%? Oh no, that’s crazy! Why do so many people return clothes now?

Erinome: Many people say they order more clothes than before, but it’s harder to find the right one. A fashion blogger told a story: she used to return 1 or 2 out of 10 clothes, but now? Only 1 or 2 can stay!

Enceladus: Oh I get that feeling! Before, I just looked at the store’s description and buyer photos, then ordered. The real clothes were almost the same. Now? I have to buy many, try them all, and return most. So tiring!

Erinome: Right! One big reason is the difference between online shows and real clothes. Like, in live streams, the lights are too strong. A “misty blue” skirt online might look like a greenish “pickle color” when you open the package!

Enceladus: Haha, that’s so true! And models often stand in strange poses—like leaning or twisting. You can’t see the real shape. The dress looks “French style” on them, but on me? Just a straight bag.

Erinome: Size is another big problem. My friend ordered an L-size dress. The store said the waist was 78cm, but when she tried it, the zipper got stuck. She measured it—only 72cm!

Enceladus: Oh no! The store said “different measuring ways,” but 6cm difference? That’s too much. And every store has different L sizes. You can’t just pick L and hope it fits. So confusing!

Erinome: Quality is bad too. Some stores sell 30-yuan T-shirts. The owner said, “They’re just for taking photos, not for wearing many times.” So after 1 or 2 washes, they’re done.

Enceladus: And expensive clothes? Sometimes they’re not better! I bought a 200-yuan shirt last month. After washing, it shrank so much—it looked like a child’s size! Had to return it.

Erinome: Many stores copy popular styles now, but the quality is all over the place. One store’s “cute top” is nice, but the copycat store’s? Threads come loose after wearing once. So you have to return.

Enceladus: Right! They care more about “new styles” than “good quality.” And they make new clothes too fast—like every week! No time to test, bad materials, bad sewing. So clothes are uncomfortable.

Erinome: Oh, and online platforms make returning super easy. Free return shipping, 7-day no-reason return. Some people even wear the clothes to parties, then return them! Like a “free fitting room.”

Enceladus: That’s not fair to sellers. They lose money on packaging and shipping. One seller said, “We have to pay for shipping insurance, but some people just return to get full减.”

Erinome: But it’s not all buyers’ fault. Stores need to show real photos, not over-edited ones. And accurate size charts—maybe with real people (not just models) wearing them.

Enceladus: Yes! And platforms can check if someone returns too many times. Like, if you return 10 clothes in a month, maybe ask why. Stop “bad returners.”

Erinome: Buyers should be honest too. Don’t wear then return. Think about the sellers—they work hard to make clothes!

Enceladus: Exactly! It’s a problem for everyone. Stores, platforms, and buyers need to work together.

Erinome: So that’s why women’s online clothes have such a high return rate—bad photos, wrong sizes, poor quality, and easy returns. Hope stores and platforms fix these soon!

Enceladus: Okay, that's it for today. Let's talk again next time. Bye, dear friends!
