why should you not call someone yellow in English:
Calling someone yellow: cowardly
We no longer use it anymore because of the history term original of this term is discriminatory
pejorative: a way of expressing contempt or disapproval used as a adjective
1.spineless : lacking courage also means lacking moral strict
Ex: he was too spineless to speak up against the unfair rules
Ex: i don't wanna be spineless but it's hard to say sometimes not confrontational at all

2.scarcity cat : a person who is easily frighten
Ex:stop being such a scarity cat it's just a little thunder
Ex:she's such a scarcity cat when it comes to horror movies
3.Chicken:
Ex: are you a chicken?
Ex:I'm not jumping over that fence I'm way too chicken
Ex:I'm too big of a chicken
Chicken out : decide not to do sth because you're afraid (idiom)
Ex: she promised she'd speak in front of class but then she chickened out

Role play:
A: the hunted house opens at 8:00, are you ready?
B:honestly i don't know I'm kinda of scared you know I'm a chicken about this stuff
A:oh don't be such a scarcity cat i heard this one isn't bad at all
B:i will go with you but i reserve the right to chicken out and not go inside
A:absolutely not! you can't plan on being spineless you have to promise you'll come with me there's no way I'm doing this alone!
