Ex: i feel jarring when every time i opened the news
Jarring: another world for shocking and kind of shocking that makes you uncomfortable deeply impacts you in negative way
Ex:I'm wouldn't say that book is terrifying but some chapters are pretty jarring
Ex:she's always calm and collective it was a little jarring to see her explode ( completely different character)
Ex: i liked the couch but the colour may be jarring compared to the neutral colours in the room
2.disturbing:
Ex: that movie is completely disturbing i couldn't sleep after i saw it
3.unsettling
Ex: it was very unsettling to come home to my door being locked
4.stratling ( has a physical aspects too)
Ex: it was so stratling when the dog jumped on me
Role play:
A: i wanna scare everyone!
B: yeah! it's going to be shocking
A: love it! i wanna stare off people when they walk by maybe with a scary costume
B: that's good! We don't wanna too disturbing though
A: there's a little kids who go by
B: true! it could be jarring to them
