Some revisions:

1. We enjoyed the live concert while having some snacks. There were some food stalls at the venue.

2. I enjoy reading magazines on science and nature, and I specifically keen to flip through colourful photos or illustrations. To some extent,  I  saw them as supplements (supplimentary adj) to my textbooks, as my high-school textbooks were black and white and lacked colourful pictures.

3. I like reading paperback books, and I think the vibe is nostalgic which the  digital books cannot provide. I do enjoy those moments when I curl up with a cup of tea while reading.

4. From my observation, people in my hometown don’t have/lack the habit of going to the theatre. In contrast, in first-tier cities like Shanghai and Shenzhen, cultural facilities/infrastructure are/is much more well-developed. I have watched many parents bring their children to enjoy a musical or a play. What’s more, numerous art festivals are held in big cities to popularize not just films, but also stage performances like musicals and plays.

5. I think the core is striking a balance between supporting artists and ensuring public access to cultural activities/resources. While actors, actress, and playwrights rely on salary to sustain their career, the government could provide subsidies to underprivileged people so that they can afford tickets of plays.
