I think public speaking is one of the ways could help me. I noticed that I struggled to express myself logically and coherently when I was asked to deliver a report to my coworkers/colleagues. I had asked several coworkers for advice on how to speak more smoothly, but their tips didn't really work. Then I suddenly came into an idea that / it suddenly occurred to me that public speaking might be the solution. Since I get nervous easily when speaking in front of a group, public speaking is a direct way to face/confront my fear instead of avoiding it. So I joined Toastmaster, an international public speaking club.

If a chance arises, I would like to visit Dunhuang again. I just came back from there last month, but I had only visited Mogao caves/ Mogao grottoes, the world's most famous caves in that region. There are many/plenty of other notable caves too, such as the Yulin caves. Duanghuang used to be a busy and thriving hub where Eastern and Western cultures converged in ancient times. The Buddha statues and murals in the caves depict its rich history and culture, dating back to as early as the 4th century. When I visited, I was taken aback by how vivid and beautiful those murals were, and how amazingly those statues had been built. I would visit again to explore the other caves in person, as more and more caves are being digitalised and no longer open to visitors.

Well, I don't know if it's talent, but to a certain extent, I’m quite fond of engaging in sketching and painting. Looking back, my mum once mentioned that I developed a passion for drawing when I was in kindergarten - I could even spend hours in a raw on painting.

I often visit a shopping mall named Hualian near my house, either by myself or with my parents. We usually go there after dinner because it's our way to aid digestion. There is a big supermarket in Hualian shopping mall, which is our destination for most times. We like buying daily necessities/essentials from vegetable and fruits to shampoo. What's more, the food section ofter offers clearance sales after 7pm, so we can get some good quality food at a low price. Besides that, we accumulate reward points (消费积分) every time we shop in the mall, and we redeem them for cinema tickets from time to time/ every now and then.
