Hi, this is Jean. This is another episode about rambling~~

This podcast is a personal sanctum to record my English learning process and self-development. Currently, I don't prepare any scripts before recording a podcast. I just focus on one topic to share, which could be about my experiences, reflections, and encounters in life... so there must be some errors, and some Chinglish expressions every now and then...(sorry : |

B.U.T

I will show some revised mistakes, polished expressions, newly learned words on [Shownotes] area 👇

Let's started! Today I want to share a way to practice English speaking

1. pick a topic
2. talk about it
3. record your answer for 1-2 minutes
4. replay it and polish it
You can pick out those parts where you are not sure about how to express yourself, or how to say a specific word, then use AI tools (e.g. 豆包 or Deepseek) to help you correct grammatical errors or unnatural expressions. Finally, write down the revised answer in your notebook or on your computer, and review the newly revised version every now and then.
I have been using this way to prepare for my IELTS speaking test, I can feel my significant improvements.
One day, I came across this video: 给个建议:针对英语能听懂却不能流利表达 To my surprise, it is what I have been doing!!
Some revised expressions:

1. simulation practice videos  模拟练习的视频

(我讲成了 stimulation n. an action or thing that causes someone or something to become more active or enthusiastic, or to develop or operate)

2. I need to make up a story to fill up/fill in/fill 2 minutes.

I will keep up by using this way for another period of time~
