The Four Seasons
四季
A year has four seasons: spring, summer, autumn, and winter.
一年有四个季节：春天、夏天、秋天和冬天。
Each season is different and brings its own colours and feelings.
每个季节都不同，带来各自的颜色和感受。
Spring is warm and wet. The sun shines gently.
春天温暖而湿润。阳光温柔地照耀着。
Green grass grows, and many colourful flowers open.
绿草生长，许多五颜六色的花朵绽放。
Trees get new leaves. We see little birds and butterflies everywhere.
树木长出新叶。到处都能看到小鸟和蝴蝶。
The air smells fresh. We like to fly kites in the park or have a picnic on the grass.
空气清新宜人。我们喜欢在公园放风筝，或在草地上野餐。
Summer is hot and sunny. The sun is bright in the blue sky.
夏天炎热而晴朗。太阳在蓝天中明亮闪耀。
Sometimes there are white clouds.
有时天空中有白云。
We go to the beach. We feel the soft sand and see the big sea.
我们去海滩。我们感受柔软的沙子，眺望辽阔的大海。
We swim in the water and build sandcastles.
我们在水中游泳，堆沙堡。
We eat ice-cream to feel cool. At night, we sometimes see the moon and stars.
我们吃冰淇淋来降温。晚上，有时能看到月亮和星星。
Autumn is cool. The leaves on the trees turn yellow, brown, and red.
秋天凉爽。树上的叶子变成黄色、棕色和红色。
They fall down. The wind blows.

We can see the moon and eat mooncakes.
我们可以赏月、吃月饼。
Fruits like apples and pears are ready. We pick them.

The days get shorter.
白天变得越来越短。
Winter is cold. The wind is strong. Sometimes it snows.

Everything looks white.

We wear warm clothes: a thick coat, a scarf, gloves, and socks.

We drink hot tea or milk. At home, it is warm.

We read books and play inside. But sometimes we go out to play in the snow.

I like all the seasons.

Spring is full of life.

Summer is for fun and water.

Autumn has beautiful colours.

Each season is special. They change in a circle, one after the other, every year.

It is wonderful to see how the world changes with each season.
