A Special Holiday Trip
一次特别的假期旅行
It is winter holiday. My family and I go on a trip to visit my grandparents. They live in another town, near a river and a small mountain.
正值寒假，我和家人去探望祖父母。他们住在另一个小镇，靠近一条河和一座小山。
We start very early in the morning. Father drives our car to the train station. The road is long. Through the window, I see many other vehicles: a big red bus full of people, a yellow taxi, a green van carrying food, and a fast motorbike. Soon, we arrive at the large, busy station.
我们一大早就出发了。爸爸开车送我们去火车站。路很长。透过车窗，我看到许多其他车辆：一辆载满乘客的大红色公交车、一辆黄色出租车、一辆运送食物的绿色面包车，还有一辆飞驰的摩托车。很快，我们就到达了那个又大又繁忙的车站。
We get on a long, blue train. Mother gives me my ticket. I sit by the window. The train starts to move slowly, then goes faster. I see houses, buildings, farms, and forests pass by. A farmer is working in a field with his sheep. The view is beautiful.
我们登上一列长长的蓝色火车。妈妈把车票递给我。我坐在靠窗的位置。火车先是缓缓启动，然后越开越快。我看到房屋、楼房、农田和森林一一掠过。一位农夫正带着他的羊群在田里劳作。景色非常美丽。
After two hours, we get off the train. My grandfather is waiting for us at the station. We are very happy to see him. He drives us to his home.
两小时后，我们下了火车。爷爷正在车站等我们。见到他，我们非常开心。他开车带我们回了家。
Their house is decorated for Chinese New Year. There are red paper cuttings on the windows and bright lanterns near the door. It looks very festive. My grandmother is cooking in the kitchen. The smell is wonderful. She is making dumplings and a special fish for our dinner. We will also have mooncakes later.
他们的房子已为春节装饰一新。窗户上贴着红色剪纸，门口挂着明亮的灯笼，显得喜气洋洋。奶奶正在厨房里忙碌，香味扑鼻。她为我们包饺子，还做了一道特别的鱼。稍后我们还会吃月饼。
We stay for three days. We visit the local temple and walk by the river. I wear my new warm coat, but my father only wears a shirt. The weather is cold but sunny. We take many photographs together.
我们在那里住了三天。我们参观了当地的寺庙，还在河边散步。我穿着崭新的厚外套，而爸爸只穿了一件衬衫。天气虽冷，但阳光明媚。我们一起拍了许多照片。
When the holiday ends, we say goodbye. Grandmother gives us a big bag of fruit and biscuits. We take the train back home.
假期结束时，我们依依不舍地告别。奶奶送给我们一大袋水果和饼干。我们坐火车返回家中。
This trip is short but special. I see new places, travel on a big train, and most importantly, spend warm time with my family during a festival. It is a happy memory that I will always keep. I love holidays because they mean family, travel, and joy.
这次旅行虽然短暂，却很特别。我看到了新的地方，乘坐了长长的火车，最重要的是，在节日里与家人共度了温馨时光。这是一段我会永远珍藏的快乐回忆。我喜欢假期，因为假期意味着家人团聚、旅行和欢乐。
