Our world is a big and wonderful place. There is so much to see, to learn, and to do. Every day, I learn new words that help me talk about this amazing world.
我们的世界是一个广阔而精彩的地方。这里有太多可看、可学、可做的事。每天，我都在学习新单词，它们帮助我描述这个奇妙的世界。
I look at the sky. I see the sun, the moon, the white clouds, and the bright stars at night. I learn words like “sky”, “cloudy”, “sunny”, and “starry”. I feel the wind on my face. It can be gentle or strong. I learn words like “wind”, “cool”, “warm”, and “cold”.
我仰望天空，看见太阳、月亮、白云，还有夜晚明亮的星星。我学会了像“sky”（天空）、“cloudy”（多云）、“sunny”（晴朗）和“starry”（繁星点点）这样的词。我感受到风吹拂脸庞，风有时轻柔，有时强劲。我还学会了“wind”（风）、“cool”（凉爽）、“warm”（温暖）和“cold”（寒冷）这些词。
I look at the land. There are green mountains, blue seas, long rivers, and quiet forests. There are busy cities with tall buildings and quiet villages with small houses. I learn words like “mountain”, “sea”, “river”, “city”, and “village”. People live in different places and do different jobs. They can be teachers, doctors, farmers, or pilots. I learn these names and respect their work.
我观察大地，那里有青翠的山峦、蔚蓝的大海、绵长的河流和宁静的森林。有高楼林立的繁忙城市，也有房屋小巧的宁静村庄。我学会了“mountain”（山）、“sea”（海）、“river”（河）、“city”（城市）和“village”（村庄）这些词。人们生活在不同的地方，从事不同的工作——他们可能是教师、医生、农民或飞行员。我学习这些职业名称，并尊重他们的劳动。
In my own life, I have many things. I have my family and friends. I have my school and my books. I have time to play, to read, to draw, and to think. I learn words for feelings too: “happy”, “tired”, “excited”, and “brave”.
在我的生活中，我拥有很多东西：我有家人和朋友，有学校和书本，也有时间玩耍、阅读、画画和思考。我也学习表达感受的词语，比如“happy”（开心）、“tired”（疲倦）、“excited”（兴奋）和“brave”（勇敢）。
I also have dreams for the future. What will I be? Maybe I can be a teacher and help children learn. Maybe I can be a scientist and discover new things. Maybe I can be a builder and make safe houses, or a painter and create beautiful pictures. To do these things, I need to learn more now. I need to read many books, listen carefully, and ask questions. I need to be kind and helpful to others.
我对未来也有梦想。我会成为什么样的人呢？也许我会成为一名教师，帮助孩子们学习；也许我会成为一位科学家，发现新事物；也许我会成为一名建筑工人，建造安全的房子；或者成为一名画家，创作美丽的图画。要实现这些梦想，我现在就需要更加努力地学习——多读书、认真听讲、勤于提问，还要对他人友善并乐于助人。
Learning words is like getting keys. Each new word is a key that opens a new door. It helps me understand more, say more, and dream more. The words in my book are not just for school. They are for talking about my family, my friends, my hobbies, and the world I see.
学习单词就像获得一把把钥匙。每一个新单词都是一把能打开新大门的钥匙，它帮助我理解更多、表达更多、梦想更多。书本里的单词不只是为了上学用的，它们还能让我谈论我的家人、朋友、爱好，以及我所看到的世界。
