2.it is respectable or reliable , honest,having good mortoo and integrity. we use this a lot to describe people who have good character and it is a more positive connotation.
ex:
.He seems like a decent guy.
.She helped her elderly neighbor with his yardwork, which was a really decent thing to do.
3. proper, appropriate , modesty or presentable , appropriately dressed .
ex:
don't come in! I'm not decent.
4. fairly large or a respectable amount , describe an amount or quantity.
ex:
.We had a decent number of people show up to the event.
.They drove a decent distance before stopping for gas.
.She earns a decent salary.
