Cozy up with these holiday phrasal verbs :
1.cozy up
means to get comfy maybe sit by the fire with a cup of hot cocoa or glass of red wine and throw blanket
Ex: let's cozy up by the fire and have a movie night tonight
Ex:on Christmas i just like to cozy up with my family and relax at home
2.bundle up
means to put on layers to clothes to stay warm
Ex:we had to bundle up (leg warmers,sweaters, a lot of layers)
Ex: bundle up for tree lighting tonight it's freezing (put on extra layers)
Ex:i bought her a scarf so she can bundle up on her trip north
3.warm up
do something to become worm getting the temperature off
Ex:you must be cold let's worm up with hot cocoa
Ex:I'll be out to play snow in 10 minutes i just want to warm up a bit first
1.to sell out
means the place had sth about gifts or food They don't have it anymore so their sold out
Ex:Tresia said she wants that toy so does the every kid in the erea, let's go store now before their sell out
2.deck out :
means making a place very nice (decorations)
Ex: my mom is so good at decoration seriously she decks out the whole house with colorful light
Ex: you have to see the lobby it's completely decked out
Ex:my mother in in law deckes out her house she has a storage units for whole holiday decoration
Role play:
A:so I'm going to my friends house for Christmas Eve, we love to go see lights on her neighborhood, because it's completely decked out,her neighbors do such a great job
B:that's awesome it'll be cold be sure to bundle up
A:yes! Of course we will go for a little and warm up with hot cocoa
B:that's sounds nice! Then you can cozy up with a movie
A:yes! Definitely and give out toys but i have to search shopping now before they sell out
