Are you on Thin Ice:
on thin ice : the situation is tense on move in a certain way could result you falling through, more metaphorical

Ex:our teacher told us we are on thin ice after we wouldn't stop talking in class, very teacher thing to say to
Ex:i know our relationship are on thin ice so I'm buying her a really nice present
2.in hot water: not literally expression means during trouble or you are in trouble
Ex:i was in hot water with my mom but she got over it when i planned her surprise party
3.hanging by a thread :
Ex: this is my second time loosing a book from her, so I'm hanging by a thread, i don't think she would let me borrow anything if i mess up again
using this kinda of expression to creating more lightness not so serious

B: i don't think she's that made, but it does feeling like we are hanging by a thread
