What's your favourite animal? Why?
My favourite animal has to be koalas. They are so cuddly and chill. I first saw them three years ago when I came to Australia, and they have been my favourite animal since. They sleep for 20 hours per day, and when they wake up, they eat. What a lifestyle!
Where do you prefer to keep your pet, indoors or outdoors?
If I had a pet, I would want to keep it indoors. I would worry about it a lot if I kept it outdoors, especially at night in winter when it can get really cold. I also don’t want them to feel neglected.
Have you ever had a pet before?
Yes. When I was in primary school, I had a dog. It was white and fluffy. I always played with it when I got home and it was my best companion then. However, one day, it went missing. I was sad for a long time.
What is the most popular animal in China?
I think both cats and dogs are popular. When you walk on the street, you can see many people walking their dogs. Dogs are friendly and loyal. Some people prefer cats, as cats are quieter and low-maintenance. They keep you company yet do not seek too much attention.
