Ep.38 | It feels like the world is against me

Set the scene:

“哎，我跟你说，我今天真是水逆。早上追公交车，就差那么两步，眼睁睁看着它开走了，结果等了二十分钟下一班，上班直接迟到。

这还不算，中午点外卖，我最爱的那家店居然休息！随便换了一家，难吃得要命，感觉钱都打水漂了。

下午更绝，电脑突然蓝屏，半天修不好，我今天要交的报告全在里面……现在只能硬着头皮跟领导解释。

我现在就盼着赶紧下班，回去点个香薰，躺平刷剧。今天这日子过得，跟演倒霉喜剧似的。”

“Ugh, you won't believe the day I've had. It's like the universe is against me. This morning, I was chasing after my bus, missed it by literally two seconds, and just watched it drive away. Had to wait twenty minutes for the next one and walked into work late.

As if that wasn't enough, at lunch, the restaurant I was craving was randomly closed! I picked another place in a hurry, and the food was terrible. Total waste of money.

But the real kicker was this afternoon. My computer just crashed with the blue screen of death. I couldn't fix it for ages, and my report that's due today was stuck in there... Now I have to go explain this mess to my boss.

I'm just counting down the minutes till I can go home, light a scented candle, collapse on the sofa, and binge-watch something. Today feels like a bad sitcom episode.”
