0Last weekend, our school had a special celebration in the local forest. The event was not random; it was planned to help students learn about nature. Our teacher said we should investigate how plants and animals live together. She gave us a simple task: solve a small puzzle about the forest.
First, we walked to a quiet corner of the forest. There, we saw a large collection of different trees. Some were very old. Our teacher explained that the forest is like a big brain for the environment. It helps clean the air and gives homes to animals. We learned that trees need good soil and water to grow. They also need sunlight. Without these things, they cannot live well.
Next, we did a fun activity. We had to find five types of leaves. This required good concentration. We looked carefully at each leaf. Some were plain, with no special marks. Others had unique shapes. We worked in pairs, which allowed for positive interaction. Talking with friends made the search more enjoyable. We helped each other recall the names of the trees. For example, one tree was an oak, and another was a pine.
After finding the leaves, we sat in a circle. Our teacher asked us questions about what we saw. She wanted us to think about how everything in the forest is connected. One student said that the forest is important for people too. It gives us wood and a place to relax. Another student mentioned that we must protect forests from abuse, like cutting too many trees. We all agreed that forests are valuable.
At the end of the day, we felt happy. We learned many new things. The celebration was a success. It showed us that nature is full of wonders. We promised to visit the forest again soon.
