“Classical Design means a story built around an active protagonist who struggles against primarily external forces of antagonism to pursue his or her desire, through continuous time, within a consistent and causally connected fictional reality, to a closed ending of absolute, irreversible change.”

A gust of fear ran down Millie's spine, but she could do nothing. She had no choice. After putting all her luggage into the small attic, she went to the kitchen to clean up.
The house looked completely different from how it had been when Millie first met Mrs. Winchester. It had been very tidy on the day of their interview, but now it was in a dreadful mess. Mrs. Winchester could not hide her impatience.
“Thank you so much for coming so soon. I’m very busy today. I have to prepare for my daughter Cecilia’s parent-teacher meeting. I’ll see you tonight. You can start your cleaning now.”
With that, she went into her bedroom. Millie was shocked at how much work she was expected to do. As she was washing the dishes, she had an odd feeling that someone was watching her. She looked toward the door and saw Mrs. Winchester’s daughter, Cecilia, staring at her with gloomy eyes.
“Who are you? You’re the housekeeper, aren’t you? I’m hungry. Make me something to eat.”
Millie agreed and prepared the food. The girl never took her eyes off her the whole time. When she finished, Cecilia asked, “What’s this?”
“It’s crisps with peanut sauce and banana. It tastes really good.”
“I’m allergic to peanuts,” the girl said.
She then burst into tears and shouted, “Mommy! The new housekeeper is trying to kill me!”
