👀How's your summer going?(It's an open-ended, friendly way to ask about someone's over summer experience so far. )
A: Hey, good to see you. How's your summer going?
B: Pretty well. We've been spending a lot of time at lake.
A: Oh, fun! Which lake do you go to?

A: Hey, how's your summer going so far?
B: Busy, we've taken a few short trips and we leave again next week.
A: Oh, fun! Where are you going next week?

👀What have you been up to this summer?(It assumes something fun could be shared.)
A: What have you been up to this summer?
B: Well, I have been hiking almost every weekend.
A: That's awesome! Which hike is your favorite?

A: So good to see you. What have you been up to this summer?
B: I'm visiting friends and trying new restaurants. What about you?
