9This episode is a little different from my usual ones.
I put together a few voice recordings I made at different points during my time abroad:
📍 Day 7 in Melbourne
📍 Day 20 in Melbourne
📍 Tekapo, New Zealand — when I decided to stay in Australia
At each of these moments, I was trying to figure out the same thing:
What do I actually want from this life abroad?
When I recorded these conversations, I had no idea where the story would eventually lead me. I didn’t know what decision I would make, or how much my thoughts would change in just a few weeks.
Listening back to them now, I realized how different I sounded at each stage.
So I decided to put them all together as a little time capsule — a record of what was going on in my head at those different moments.
Also, because these recordings were made in different places and environments, the audio quality isn’t exactly consistent. Sometimes the volume might be a little louder or quieter, and you might hear some background noise too
