（双源：Space.com + ETH Zurich/phys.org）

Good morning, and welcome to Daily English News. Today is Monday, September twenty-eighth. Here is a story about a space rock that may explain how Earth was born. NASA's OSIRIS-REx spacecraft visited an asteroid named Bennu, and in twenty twenty-three it brought pieces of it home, about one hundred twenty grams. A team in Switzerland has now finished studying those samples, and the results are surprising. Scientists used to believe Bennu formed far away in the cold outer solar system. Instead, the new analysis shows it was born near a special boundary called the snow line, where water vapor freezes into ice. There, material from the hot inner solar system and the icy outer regions mixed together, and ice acted like glue, sticking tiny dust particles into bigger rocks. Giant Jupiter played a key role too, blocking coarse material while fine dust flowed around it. Bennu may be our best look at the original ingredients that built Earth.
