Taco Bell is teaming up with Duolingo, the world's most popular language-learning app, for a fun new project. This year, Taco Bell is turning its famous Taco Day into Global Taco Day, on October sixth. The two companies are launching a limited-edition sauce called Duo Habanero, named after Duo, Duolingo's green owl. Here is the best part: the sauce packets themselves are tiny language lessons. Each packet prints a short taco-themed saying in nine different languages, including English, Spanish, French, Japanese, Korean, and Mandarin. The sauce will be available in seven countries, including China, the United States, Canada, Australia, India, Spain, and the U.K. Taco Bell says the word "taco" sounds almost the same in more than thirty languages, which makes it a perfect symbol for language learning. Fans can also unlock one free month of Super Duolingo through the Taco Bell rewards app, and win special Taco Bell owl toys. So next time you grab a taco, you might learn a new word, too.
