A middle school girl Li Wan struggles with exclusion in a recomposed family. Her mother left long ago, and her father doesn’t dare to tell her that he had a son with his new wife.
Her father hopes to ease the tensions with her, so he sends her a puppy. Li Wan called the puppy Einstein cause she loves physics.
For example, in America, Child Abuse is defined in the Children Young Persons and their Families Act as “the harming (whether physically, emotionally, or sexually), ill-treatment, abuse, neglect or deprivation of any child or young person.”
Common assault is where injuries amount to no more than the following:
grazes;擦伤
scratches;刮伤
abrasions;磨伤
minor bruising;小范围的淤青
swellings;肿胀
reddening of the skin;皮肤泛红
a ‘black’ eye 被揍成熊猫眼
Equality means recognizing and embracing diversity. Equality not only means that opportunities should be available to everyone; it means that everyone can have the chance to develop their potential.
