首先注意，不管是How you doing?还是How are you doing? 都是口语中的表达。
前者更偷懒省略了。
今天我们来讲一个很常见的表达，叫做hard to tell，这个我们之前节目里也讲过，什么意思呢？
你可以完整一点说成：It’s hard to tell.
很难讲，很难说。不好说。
口语里你也可以说It’s hard to say.
大多数场景可以互换。只不过tell有的时候有一点区别、辨别的意味。
eg: -- I think he’s happy.
-- It’s hard to tell.
-- 我觉得他挺开心的。
-- 不好说/看不出来。
eg: It’s hard to say which one is better.
很难说哪一个就更好一些。
eg: Whether it will do us harm or good is hard to say.
这件事对我们是利还是弊很难说。
eg: It’s hard to say who is right in this matter.
这件事中，不好说谁对说错。
