约翰·克里斯多夫（上）

今天给大家带来一本 wrong Christopher 罗曼罗兰的约翰克里斯托夫，这本书有许延忠许渊冲老先生的中文翻译本，那今天给大家看的这一本是由北京理工大学出版社赵凤云先生的简译本，因为原本比较长，而今天给大家带来这本书里面主要是有关于小克里斯多夫的教育的问题。

有人说中国现在最缺乏的 3 种教育，爱的教育、死亡教育和性教育。那文中小克里斯朵夫的父亲曼西沃发现了他家中的这个小天才之后，将自己对于音乐的执着强加给了他的儿子，所以发生了以下的这一幕。

父子二人，因为执拗、争吵、冲突，让小克里斯托夫心中本来对音乐的无限的热爱，变成了地狱般的折磨。克里斯朵夫的父亲曼希我和儿子之间的对话，他发现了儿子已经开始刻意的抗拒钢琴的联系。

What he cried, he took and almost broke the boy's arm, was shaking it. Young Christopher, trembling more and more and raising his arms elbow to ward off the blows, said again, I won't play anymore, first because I don't like it being beaten. And then he could not finish. A terrific blow knocked the wind out of him.

 Roared, oh, you don't like being beaten, you don't like it. Michelle had to surrender. He thrashed the boy, thrust him from the room and said that he should have nothing to eat and all day, or the whole month until he had played all the exercises without a mistake.

所以经过一阵暴风雨般的捶打之后，曼希沃他也只能投降，也只能暂时放弃他，把孩子推到门外，让他整天整月没有东西吃，直到能够弹出没有任何差错的练习区为止。

所以经过这一次冲突之后，小克里斯朵夫心中的对于音乐的热爱变成了世上最难以忍受的折磨。但就在这时候，他生命当中最重要的这个人再次出现了，就是他的爷爷。对于小孙子来说，因为隔一代的缘故，可能更容易有一种理解和包容，所以爷爷在这个时候的一种开始显得非常的重要。爷爷给他说了一句话，让小克里斯托夫心里好受了很多。

The old man, seeing his grandson wheeping, had told him with that gravity which he always maintained for the boy, that it was worthwhile suffering a little for the most beautiful and noble art given to men for their consolation and glory.

老人看见小孙子哭，就以他一贯的态度郑重其事地对他说，为了人间最美的、最高尚的，能够带给人安慰和荣誉的艺术，吃些苦是值得的。你也没有完全否定音乐的魅力，也不是很没有任何实质内容的去安慰巧克里斯朵夫的痛苦，因为他的痛苦主要是心灵上的痛苦，而只是给他说了一个词，worthwhile，因为这种最因为人间，为了人间最美最高尚的艺术，这些痛苦你是值得遭受的。后来也在爷爷的慢慢的引导之下，他得以重新发现音乐当中所蕴含的魅力。
