6The Very Hungry Caterpillar 好饿好饿的毛毛虫

In the light of the moon a little egg lay on a leaf.
月光下 一个小小的卵躺在叶子上
One Sunday morning the warm sun came up
一个周日的清晨 温暖的太阳升起
and -pop!- out of the egg came a tiny and very hungry caterpillar.
砰！ 一只又小又饿的毛毛虫从卵里钻出来了
He started to look for some food.
他开始寻找食物
On Monday he ate through one apple.
周一 他吃了一个苹果
But he was still hungry.
但他还是很饿
On Tuesday he ate through two pears,
周二 他吃了两个桃子
but he was still hungry.
但他还是很饿
On Wednesday he ate through three plums,
周三 他吃了三颗李子
but he was still hungry.
但他还是很饿
On Thursday he ate through four strawberries,
周四 他吃了四颗草莓
but he was still hungry.
但他还是很饿
On Friday he ate through five oranges
周五 他吃了五个橘子
but he was still hungry.
但他还是很饿
On Saturday he ate through one piece of chocolate cake,
周六 他吃了一块巧克力蛋糕
one ice-cream cone, one pickle, one slice of Swiss cheese,
一个冰激凌甜筒 一块黄瓜 一片瑞士奶酪
one slice of salami, one lollipop, one piece of cherry pie,
一片腊肉 一个棒棒糖 一块樱桃派
one sausage, one cupcake, and one slice of watermelon.
一根香肠 一个纸杯蛋糕 和一片西瓜
That night he had a stomachache!
到了晚上 他开始肚子疼
The next day was Sunday again.
第二天又是周日了
The caterpillar ate through one nice green leaf,
这只毛毛虫吃了一片新鲜的叶子
and after that he felt much better.
之后他感觉好多了
Now he wasn't hungry any more - and he wasn't a little caterpillar any more.
现在他终于不饿了 而且他也不再是一只小毛毛虫
He was a big, fat caterpillar.
他成了一只大大的、胖胖的毛毛虫
He built a small house, called a cocoon, around himself.
他在自己周围建造了一个小房子 叫做茧
He stayed inside for more than two weeks.
他在里面待了超过两周
Then he nibbled a hole in the cocoon, pushed his way out and...
然后他把茧咬出一个洞 钻了出来
he was a beautiful butterfly!
他成了一只美丽的蝴蝶！
