0费赖之，字福民，法国人。1868年起担任徐家汇藏书楼主任，毕生致力于耶稣会历史和中西文化交流的研究。他长期研究中国历史地理以及天主教在中国的传入历史，并编写出版了与欧洲及各堂口通讯的双月刊，还绘制了江南教区地图，是“江南科学计划”的主要执行者之一。
Pierre Teilhard de Chardin, also known by his courtesy name Fumin, was a Frenchman who became the director of the Xujiahui Library in 1868. He devoted his life to researching Jesuit history and Sino-Western cultural exchanges. He studied Chinese history and geography as well as the history of Catholicism in China for many years. Teilhard de Chardin also edited and published a bi-monthly journal for correspondence with Europe and other churches, and he mapped the Jiangnan Vicariate. He was one of the main executors of the "Plan for Sciences in Jiangnan."
