0韩伯禄，字石贞，法国人，生物学家，是“江南科学计划”的主要执行者。1868年抵达上海，同年创办了徐家汇博物院，并于1872年任院长。徐家汇博物院是中国最早的自然博物馆，有“亚洲的大英博物馆”之美誉，现为“上海昆虫博物馆”。韩伯禄曾多次前往江苏、安徽及华中地区收集动物标本，并为欧洲人前所未闻的动物命名。他一生收藏的动植物标本数以千计，是当时远东地区的顶尖收藏家之一。他所著的《中华帝国自然历史录从》是中国生物学领域的权威著作。
Pierre Heude, also known by his courtesy name Shizhen, was a French biologist and a key executor of the "Plan for Sciences in Jiangnan." He arrived in Shanghai in 1868 and founded the Xujiahui Museum in the same year, becoming its director in 1872. The Xujiahui Museum was the first natural history museum in China, earning the nickname "The British Museum of Asia," and is now the predecessor of the Shanghai Entomological Museum. Perny made numerous expeditions to Jiangsu, Anhui, and central China to collect animal specimens, naming previously unknown species to Europeans. His lifelong collection of thousands of botanical and zoological specimens made him a leading figure in the Far East at the time. His work, "Natural History of the Chinese Empire," remains an authoritative text in Chinese biology.
