这一期我们邀请到了Xenia Sidorenko

Xenia 是一位时装设计师，她转变了自己对21世纪设计师使命的理解——产品应当设计为可持续的。她出生于俄罗斯圣彼得堡，2011年移居中国，与牛仔布工厂紧密合作。在纺织行业从事大规模生产14年的经验，促使她决定创立UseDem循环利用项目。

UseDem是一个纺织循环利用品牌，也是中国首个工业循环利用品牌，旨在消除纺织废弃物。

Xenia相信循环利用是减少纺织工业污染的方法，也是转变社会消费心态的工具。所有产品均由当地包容性工厂生产。

UseDem开展教育项目——为儿童、成人、公司开设衣物循环利用课程和讲座，讲述当前的环境污染状况，以及每个人如何为我们的未来做出贡献。

UseDem团队凭借在零售行业的经验，能够为纺织品牌提供咨询，帮助将业务可持续性作为公司政策的重要组成部分。

个人慈善项目：与退休和残疾人社区合作。“尼泊尔之狐”——地震后为山村儿童捐赠冬装。SWAP和Sale Garage销售所得全部利润用于支持患癌儿童。在偏远的玉树山区建立小工厂，教授人们如何缝制和循环利用衣物。

Fashion designer, who transform her own understanding of designer mission in 21 century –

product should be designed to be sustainable. Born in Russia St Petersburg, she moved to China in 2011 to work closely with Denim factories. 14 years experience in mass production in textile industry made her decided to found UseDem upcycle project.

UseDem is a textile upcycling brand , the first industrial upcycling brand in China, that aim to eliminate textile waste.

Xenia believes in upcycling as in a solution to decrease textile industry pollution and tool to transform society-consuming mindset. All products made by local inclusive factory.

UseDem run education program - clothes upcycle classes and lectures for kids, adults, companies, about present nature pollution situation and the ways how everyone can make difference in our future.

UseDem team using experience in retail industry able to provide to textile brands consulting to help heading business sustainability as essential part of corporate policy.

Personal charity projects: Cooperation with retired and disabled people community. “Fox in Nepal”-winter jackets were donated to kids in the mountain village after the earthquake. SWAP and Sale Garage all profit from sale goes to support kids who live with cancer. Build small factory and teach how to sew and upcycle clothes in remote mountain village Yushu area .
