To be honest I'm quite excited about the future videos
说实话我对今后的视频感到很憧憬
because I am one of those people who tend to have a lot of thoughts going on in my mind
因为我就是那种脑袋里想法很多的人
and I would really love to share them with you guys
也特别喜欢跟大家分享这些想法
And to be honest I have learned something in the past 48 hours
其实在过去的48小时里我也有一个小小的感悟
because this is the first time that my video has received so much attention
因为这是第一次我的视频收到了这么多关注
I just couldn't stop myself from staring at my phone
我按捺不住激动的心情一直盯着手机屏幕
and watch the number going up
看着点赞和粉丝数量一点点增加
It's quite a fulfilling process to be honest
这个过程真的很有成就感
however I found that when the number reaches 10,000
但是我发现当数量增加到1万的时候
the units of increase suddenly change from 1 to 1,000
增长的单位就从1变成了一千
which means I can only see the changing numbers
这就代表着只有在数字从1万增长的1.1万、1.2万的时候
when it goes up from 10,000 to 11,000 to 12,000 and so on
我才能看到数字的变化
and I found this process quite similar to one of the situations that we're all very familiar with
我觉得这个跟咱们平时经常说到的一个现象很像
which is called bottlenecks
就是“瓶颈”
this is the period when people feel like no matter how hard they work
在瓶颈里的时候人们就是会发现不管怎么努力
they just cannot see the progress
好像都看不到进步
and the reason why many people fail at their bottlenecks is because
然后人们在瓶颈的时候失败往往是因为
they have doubts on themselves
对自己产生了怀疑
and they feel like their hard works are not paid off by the outcomes
因为投入和产出看似不成正比
so after observing this
所以在这次观察到这个现象之后
perhaps in the future when I encounter my bottlenecks
或许今后我如果遇到了瓶颈
I could remind myself of this experience
我就会会想起这次的经历
and try to convince myself that I am actually making progress
就能让自己相信我是在慢慢进步的
it's just the progress becoming more invisible
只不过进步变得不那么显性了
because I'm entering another level
因为我已经正在进入一个更高的阶段
and I'm just accumulating for a breakthrough
一切量变都在为质变做准备
yeah that's just another lesson I learned
