It’s a very interesting topic! I remember one day I went to wander in a Muji store with friends and found that it’s not like the traditional grocery store. I was working as a brand marketing intern at that time and that’s the first time I noticed contemporary branding was not just about product features but more about lifestyle. You buy something not just for use but for a symbol of high-end or chill or other kinds of lifestyle. I think maybe that’s kinda like the logic of contemporary consumerism.
